We were most surprised to come across this modern, comfortable hotel in such a remote location.

Brand new (opened 2007), the Rapo Hotel has some 50 rooms on its upper 5 floors, served by a lift. All are furnished in an elegant contemporary style, and possess twin or double bed, air-conditioning, fridge/mini-bar, very nice tiled shower room and large front balcony with lovely views to the sea.

The ground floor houses reception, lounge and terrace restaurant. To the front is a huge freshwater swimming pool (25m x 15m, depth 0.5m-2.0m) with adjacent children’s pool and pool bar.

A 3 minute walk brings you to a lovely shingle beach shelving into a clear blue sea. A second good beach is a further 5 minutes, then a smaller sandy cove before reaching the main beach of the village about 1 km away. To walk to the centre will take 15-20 minutes (take a torch) but there are a couple of seasonal restaurants closer by.
