This small Pousada opened in 1960 and is named after Prince Henry the Navigator who, in the 15th century, built his famous school of Navigation in Sagres. The Pousada enjoys an enviable position in the village, resting on the top of the cliffs overlooking the shimmering waters of the Atlantic Ocean. These dramatic headlands are a haven for bird life, especially during the migration period. The Pousada Infante enjoys a rather remote and dramatically beautiful location, set in a quiet area of the Algarve and 6km from ‘Cabo Sao Vicente’ the most southwestern point in Europe.
