The Hotel Albatroz is one of the most exclusive hotels in Portugal – and with its discreet, elegant Portuguese furnishing and its prime waterfront location it is easy to see why. Built in 1873 by the Duke of Loule, this waterfront palace opened as a hotel with 11 rooms in 1963. Today the hotel has been carefully enlarged, with the addition of a new wing carefully decorated in keeping with the original architectural style, and with the addition of the Albatroz Palace, the Yellow House and the White House.

Main House (Palace of the Duke of Loule):
40 standard rooms
The rooms vary in size and shape and are tastefully decorated in different colour schemes. Front facing rooms have a balcony with sea view, side facing rooms have a beach view and partial sea view (no balcony) and the rear facing rooms have a town view (no balcony).

The Palace:

4 deluxe rooms and 2 suites 
The Palace is located across the street from the Main House and directly opposite the beach. All the rooms have beach view and three share a balcony. The suites have a separate living room. There is also a shop selling regional produce (wine, olive oil, herbs, jams and chocolates), a large living room and meeting rooms. 

The Yellow House:

2 standard rooms and 5 suites
This detached house is located to one side of the Main House. Ground Floor: 3 suites – Large room with separate living area, one has a covered terrace with sea view, the other two have terrace with beach view.

First Floor: 2 standard rooms and 2 suites. The standard rooms have a sea view. The suites comprise of one large room with separate living area, one has a sea view and the other has a beach view.

The White House:

5 deluxe rooms and 1 duplex suite
This detached house, located next door to the main house and connected by a bridge on the first floor, is beautifully decorated with light beech wood furnishings that give the appearance of a real beach chalet. The deluxe rooms have a balcony with sea view or town view. The duplex suite occupies two floors (1st and 2nd floor) – First Floor: A shower room with wc and a living room with French doors leading on to a balcony with a fabulous view over the Bay of Cascais. Top Floor: A staircase leads up to a large bathroom with bath, separate shower and wc and a double bedroom with French doors leading on to a covered balcony with a view over the Bay of Cascais.
